A ticket agent warned us to get to the depot early, in case they had to add an extra train car for our baggage. As soon as this pre-dawn shot was taken, a security guard ordered us to move the baggage back inside the depot for inspection. The cardboard boxes are stuffed with bread, crackers, and rolls. A cranky train conductor repeatedly warned me that we wouldn't be allowed to eat inside the passenger cars.
